In Apex Legends, laser sights improve recoil control by reducing hip-fire spread. Laser Sights were added in Season 14 and replaced Barrel Stabilizers on Pistols and Sub-Machine Guns (SMGs) that could equip them.
The laser sight is interchangeable with the flash suppressor and barrel stabilizer at the end of the R-99.
